Summer Camp

is almost here!

In the summer, Chase Park is transformed. . . 

 

The field-house takes the form of a mythical circus tent,

​

The gym, fields and playground convert into training grounds for our young campers,

​

And our young campers become 

C I R C U S   S T A R S !

 

Campers spend the summer in a celebration of movement and play. Our certified coaches teach exciting new skills in a fun, safe and nurturing environment. Campers enjoy the satisfaction of mastering amazing feats and working as a team. And throughout the summer, full-time campers get to experience the thrill of performing!

Camp is open to one and all, ages 6 – 12; no previous experience is needed! 

​

Activities include:

  • The amazing Gym Wheel

  • Aerial Silks

  • Static Trapeze

  • Mini and Big Trampoline

  • Partner Acrobatics

  • Juggling

  • And more!

Sign up by the week, or for the entire program!

Wednesday, June 19 - Friday, August 9

7 1/2 weeks of circus fun!

​

Children can sign up by the week or for the entire 7 1/2 weeks.

 

Performances:

Children who participate in the entire program are guaranteed to perform in the Chase Park circus shows, scheduled throughout the summer. Short-term campers may perform as well, depending on their performance readiness.

​

Hours:

Camp hours are from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

​

We have extended care available (8 am- 9 am and 3 pm - 5 pm). If you sign up through the park district and are requesting extended care services, please email Patty (rolling@chicagowheeljam.com).

 

Cost:

As part of our arts partnership with the Chicago Park District, our summer camp prices have been adjusted for this summer. Our updated prices are:

​

5-day weeks, $226

7-week package price, $1,208

Try Camp for a day, $60*

Box lunch is available.

​We want circus arts to be open to everyone! Don’t let cost get in the way. If camp fees seem unmanageable, please contact Wolfgang Bientzle at 312-375-5264 to discuss grant or scholarship opportunities.
